American Camellia Yearbook, 1992, p.37, Reg. No.2261: A very large, pink, semi-double cross of C.reticulata hybrids Arch of Triumph x Jean Pursel. Blooms early to late season. Originated by Jack L. Mandarich, Menlo Park, California, USA. The 11 year old seedling first flowered 1985. The average size bloom is 15 cm across x 7.5 cm deep with 18 petals and golden stamens. Plant growth is upright, spreading, dense and vigorous in rate with leaves 15 cm long x 8 cm wide.
