Sōshunfu

Hagiya & Ishizawa, Kyōto Engei Kurabu Tsubaki Tokushū, No.9, 1968, p.60, illustration (I), p.V: Medium sized, open, peony form, clear dark pink with 16 outer petals and a tuft of 10 petaloids in the centre. Stamens about 100. Early flowering. Leaves wide-ovate. Collected at Nishi Kubiki-gun, Niigata Prefecture, Japan in 1960. Different reading: ‘Sōsyunfu’.
