ACS Registration #2935. The Camellia Journal,70(2):30 with color photo. American Camellia Yearbook, 2015, p. 131 with color photo and description. This 15-year-old C. reticulata chance seedling first bloomed in 2000. It was originated by E. Huyln Smith of Valdosta, Georgia, USA and registered and propagated by Randolph Maphis of Tallahassee, Florida, USA. Bloom: The large to very large sized 11.5cm x 8.3cm (treated 13.4cm x 11.4cm) semi-double form flower is medium pink. It has golden anthers and white filaments. Its blooms are long lasting. The petals have some frosting. Plant: The plant habit is upright. The growth rate is vigorous. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition uses. Leaf: The dark green leaves average 11.4cm x 5.1cm with medium serration. Bloom season: Early to midseason.
