(Shuyong 1) Alternative name: 207. New
clonal variety. Small arbor type. Medium leaf size. Medium sprouting. It was selected individually from the
progenies of artificial hybridization betwe-en the Yunnan Daye variety and
Sichuan Zongye variety in 1962~1982
by the Tea Research institute,Sichuan Academy of
Agricultural Sciences. Now it has been po-pularized ;n the tea area
manufacturing the black tea in Sichuan province. It was also introduced in
limited area of Hunan, Guangxi and Guizhou provinces. Plant higher, with higher branching position
and average branching density. Erect in shape. Leaves horizontal or incline upwards.
Length 9.3~10.2 cm, width 3.7%4.0 cm. Long-oblong in shape with tail-shped
tips. Dark green in color with glossy Thick in texture, 9~10
pairs of vein. With deep serrations. The sprouting period in the spring season
is later than that of Fudian Dayeicha. The plucking date is 9 days later. With
low sprouting density and vigorous sprouting ability. Shoots stout and green in
color, with profuse fine hairs. The weight of 100 one bud and three leaves
shoots averaged 101 g. With average flowering period and bearing percentage.
High resistance to the yellow mite. The cold-hardiness is weaker than that of
Yunnan Daye variety. With potent rooting ability and high survival rate during
cutting propagation High-yielding.
According to the comparative varietial experiment, the yield of made tea in a 3%5
years old tea garden averaged 173.5 kg per mu, and is 66 .46% higher than that
of Fudian Dabaicha. The yield of made tea in a 4 years old tea garden averaged
303.4 kg per mu. According to the
analysis conducted by the Tea Research Institute, Sichuan Academy of
Agricultural Sciences, the contents of caffeine in the one bud and two leaves
shoots averaged 3.81%, tea polyphenols 33.58%, total catechins 159.49 mg/g.
Suitable for the manufacture of black tea prepared with GSCT46 variety as the
raw material is characterized by its rich and lasting aroma, strong and
refreshing taste, bright reddish liquor and infused leaf, is better than the
standard of exported black tea manufactured by small-leaf variety.
Suitable to popularize in the tea area
in the south-of-Yangzte River as well as westsouth and southern part of China
for the manufacture of black tea.
Owing to the smaller branching angle,
upward-inclining leaves and average tenderness-keeping ability, it is
recommended to plant more densely and increase the amounts of fertilizer during
summer and autumn season in the established garden. Besides, plucking in time by
several patches is necessary.

【产地与分布】由重庆市农业科学院茶叶研究所于1962~1982年以云南大叶茶为母本、四川中小叶种为父本,采用杂交育种法育成。四川、重庆有栽培。1987年通过全国农作物品种审定委员会认定,编号GS13046-1987。
【形态特征】 植株高大,树姿较直立,分枝密度中等。叶片水平或上斜状着生,椭圆形,叶色深緑,富光泽,叶面隆起,叶身背巻,叶缘平,叶尖渐尖,叶齿中,叶质厚。花冠直径3.9cm,萼片5枚、有毛,花瓣白色、5~6瓣,子房茸毛中等,花柱3浅裂。结实性中等,种子百粒重142.6g,种径1.6cm。
【特性】 2010年在重庆永川茶叶研究所试验基地观测,一芽二叶期出现在3月21日,比福鼎大白茶晚19天。芽叶生育力強,黄緑色,茸毛较多,一芽三叶百芽重102.0g。春茶一芽二叶干样约含茶多酚15.9%、氨基酸4.2%、咖啡碱3.8%、水浸出物47.7%。产量高,3~5龄茶树的茶园平均每667㎡产干茶173.5kg。适制红茶,品质优良。制红碎茶,香高,滋味浓鲜,汤色红艳。抗寒性较强,较抗茶半跗线螨。
【适栽地区】西南、华南及江南部分红茶茶区。
【栽培要点】宜适当密植,成园后要增施夏、秋肥,及时分批勤采。
