American Camellia Yearbook, 1954, p.333, Reg. No.166: A 6 year old seedling of Cleopatra, originated by Woodland Nursery, Pascagoula, Mississippi, USA that first flowered 1953. Plant growth is average in density and rapid. Flowers resemble Narumigata, more numerous but smaller, 6-8 cm across with 5-9 petals. Early flowering.
