Sister Power (C. japonica) ACS, Reg. No.3255.  American Camellia Yearbook, 2021, p106. This 29-year-old C. japonica chance seedling. It was originated by Vi Stone of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and registered by Michael Ruth of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and propagated by Baton Rouge Camellia Society. BLOOM: The medium sized (3 1/2"- 3 3/4") x 1 1/2" semidouble form flower is blush pink and white with stripes/flecks of light and dark pink with yellow anthers and white filaments. This cultivar is a profuse bloomer, falls in one piece, is long lasting, has heavy petal texture and consistent form. PLANT: The plant habit is upright and medium density. The growth rate is slow. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition. LEAF: The dark green leaves average (3 5/8"- 4") x (1 3/4" - 2 1/8") with low serration. BLOOM SEASON: Early to midseason.
