japonica chance seedling. It was originated by Vi Stone of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and registered by Michael Ruth of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and propagated by Baton Rouge Camellia Society. BLOOM: The medium sized (3
1/2"- 3 3/4") x 1 1/2" semidouble form flower is blush pink and white with
stripes/flecks of light and dark pink with yellow anthers and white filaments.
This cultivar is a profuse bloomer, falls in one piece, is long lasting, has
heavy petal texture and consistent form. PLANT: The plant habit is
upright and medium density. The growth rate is slow. The plant is suitable for
landscaping and exhibition. LEAF: The dark green leaves average (3
5/8"- 4") x (1 3/4" - 2 1/8") with low serration. BLOOM
SEASON: Early to midseason.
