Nippon Tsubaki - Sasanqua Meikan, 1998, p.161 with colour photo; English translation p.110. Small, large and small white mottles on red ground, tubular to flat single, cylindrical stamen cluster. Flowers mid-season. Leaves elliptic, medium size, flat. Spreading, vigorous growth. Raised by a private family in Hōjō City, named and released by Tokihiro Kōno in 1977.
