Tengyue Chunse

Tengyue Chunse (C. reticulata). China Regn. #2020-306. China Flowers & Horticulture, 2020, No.6, p.47. Originated by Xiao Yongxian from Tengchong County, Yunnan. Flowers pink, rose to loose peony type, diameter 9-10 cm, petals 18-23, oval, apex notched, outer petals slightly wavy, inner petals become smaller and erect, and a few stamens in the center of flower, pistildeformed and degenerated. Leaves elliptical to broadly elliptic, 8-12 cm long, 4 to 5.5 cm wide, with acuminate apex, cuneate to broad cuneate at the base, obvious veins on the leaf surface, and slightly wavy edge. Flowering from January to February.

腾越春色Camellia reticulata 'Tengyue Chunse'.中国茶花登录号306，《中国花卉园艺》2020年第6期47页。由云南省腾冲县的肖永先从野生红花油茶林中选育。花桃红色，玫瑰型至松散牡丹型，花径9～10厘米，花瓣18～23枚，卵圆形，先端凹缺，外轮花瓣微波状，内轮瓣化雄蕊渐小直立，少数雄蕊分束于花心，雌蕊畸形退化。叶椭圆形至宽椭圆形，长8～12厘米，宽4～5.5厘米，先端渐尖，下勾，基部楔形至宽楔形，叶面叶脉明显，叶缘微波状。花期1月～2月。
