Chinka Zufu, (before 1700), Watanabe, 1969, pl.612: Large, anemone form, to semi-double, deep red, two rows of large, rounded and wavy, overlapping petals. Centre a large cushion, almost entirely of flagged petaloids. Originated in Japan. Thought to be the same as the above. See: Kyōto Engei Kurabu, 1964, Tsubaki Tokushū, No.5, p.155. (Believed extinct.)
