Usuhassaku

Encyclopedia of Camellias in Colour, vol.I, 1972, pl.49, p.54, description, p.298 as ‘Usu-hassaku’: Medium size, soft, pale pink, cup-shaped single with incurved petals; broad, stamen column with yellow anthers and white filaments. Leaves deep green, long-elliptic, prominent venation. Flower shape and leaves resemble Shirohassaku but unrelated. Originated in Chūbu area, Japan.
