Vanilla Cream (C. japonica). published in American Camellia Yearbook 2021, p. 97. Registered in 2021. ACS Registration #3237. A chance seedling of C. japonica 'Betty Sheffield Supreme', first bloomed in 2011. It was registered and originated by Pat B. Johnson from Cairo, Georgia, USA. Flowers semidouble to anemone form, medium to large, 10.2 cm in diameter, 5.1 in depth, petals creamy white, anthers gold and filaments yellow. Leaves medium green, 7.6 cm long, 2.5 cm wide, Plant average growth rate, spreading, open growth. Bloom season: early to mid-season.
