Gao Jiyin et al. 2016. Illustrations of the New Camellias Hybrids that Bloom Year-round. P.448. [C. amplexicaulis × Non-reticulata hybrid ‘Super Star’](Dancing Star). Flowers deep-pink to light-red, semi-double form, small. Leaves yellow-green, larger, thin- coriaceous, margins wavy and sharply serrate. Plant spread, branches soft, slender and hanging down, growth vigorous. Blooms from winter to the spring of following year.

高继银、刘信凯、赵强民，2016. 《四季茶花杂交新品种彩色图集》, p.448。“花蕾锥形，萼片绿色，花柄长0.5cm。花朵深粉红色至淡红色，半重瓣型，小型花，花径6.3～7.4cm，花瓣30多枚，呈2轮松散排列，呈星状，花瓣狭长，长倒卵形，长4.2cm，宽2.1cm，外翻，全开放后两侧内卷呈笛状，雄蕊基部连生，呈筒状，花丝和花药淡黄色。叶片黄绿色，薄革质，长椭圆形，长12.4～13.0cm，宽5.5～6.2cm，边缘波浪状，叶齿尖。植株开张，枝条细软，下垂，生长旺盛。冬季至翌年春季开花。
