Xianhua Yingchi

Xianhua Yingchi (C. azalea × C. azalea F1 new hybrid 'Xiafeng Relang'). Liu Xinkai et al. 2023, Illustrations of the New Camellia Hybrids that Bloom Year-round, Zhejiang Science and Technology Publishing House, p.249. HAR-02-24., a cross seedling (DXFRL-No.56 + 51) of C. azalea × C. azalea F1 new hybrid 'Xiafeng Relang'. Flowers pale pink, fading to white at the mid-surfaces of petals, single form, medium to large size, 9.5-12.0cm across with 5-6 broad obovate petals, stamens slightly united at the base, filaments pale pink, anthers yellow, bloom dense. Leaves dark green, heavy leathery, cuneate at the base, margins smooth. Plant slightly upright and growth vigorous. Starts to bloom from early-summer, fully blooms from autumn to winter and sporadically in the spring. The cultivar name means “Wild Flowers Reflected from Pool”.
