HA-01-8., a cross seedling (DK-No.5)of C. azalea × C. japonica 'Kramer'sSupreme'. Flowers deep-peach red to red,slightly with fragrance, peony form, very large size, 13.2- 14.6cm across and5.8cm deep with 7-10 exterior large petals arranged in 1-2 rows, petals broadobovate, rolled outward, apices emarginate, central small petals numerous,semi-erected or wavy, stamens mixed with the petals. Leaves dark green, heavyleathery, elliptic, margins sparsely serrate. Plant spread and growth vigorous.Starts to bloom from summer, fully blooms from autumn to winter andsporadically in Spring. The cultivar name means “Mental Intoxication”.
