Yangfen Libo

China Camellia Regn No. 2019-293. Published in China Flowers & Horticulture, 2019, No.20, p.60 with a colour photo. This cultivar was bred by Liu Heping and Zhang Junli from Yangjiang Vocational and Technical College. It uses C. azalea as the female parent and 'Hongfurong' as the male parent. In 2015, hybrid seeds were harvested and sown to propagate. Flowers pink, semi-double, medium-sized, with a diameter of 9.0cm and about 80 petals, which are arranged in multiple rounds. The apex of the petal is slightly concave, and the center of the flower has a few stamens, nearly half of which is petalized, without pistil. The leaves are dark green, elliptic or obovate, 8.0-9.5cm long, 4.5-5.1cm wide, broad at the apex, sharply pointed, and wedge-shaped at the base. The plant is compact and grows vigorously. It blooms mainly in summer and autumn, and seldom blooms in winter and spring.

阳粉丽波 Camellia 'Yangfen Libo' 中国茶花登录号：2019-293。《中国花卉园艺》2019年第20期60页。本品种由阳江职业技术学院刘和平、张俊丽等培育，以杜鹃红山茶（C. azalea）为母本，‘红芙蓉’为父本杂交。2015年收获杂交种子，播种繁殖。花粉红色，半重瓣型，中型花，花径9.0cm，花瓣约80枚左右，呈多轮有序排列。花瓣先端微凹，花心雄蕊少量，近半数瓣化，无雌蕊。叶片浓绿色，椭圆形或倒卵形，长8.0～9.5cm，宽4.5～5.1cm，先端阔，急尖，基部楔形。植株紧凑，生长旺盛，主要在夏、秋开花，冬、春少花。
