Zuichunfeng

Zuichunfeng (C. amplexicaulis × C. japonica 'Dr.King'). Liu Xinkai et al. 2023, Illustrations of the New Camellia Hybrids that Bloom Year-round, Zhejiang Science and Technology Publishing House, p.478. HB-30-2., a cross seedling (BJBS-No.3+13) of C. amplexicaulis × C. japonica 'Dr.King'. Flowers peach red, single form, small size, 6.5-7.5cm with 6-7 petals arranged in a trumpet shape, petals crinkled at the edges, stamens united at the base, bloom dense. Leaves normal green, shiny, long elliptic, midribs sunken, margins finely and sharply serrate and apices down ward. Plant upright, branches sturdy and growth vigorous. Blooms from early-winter to the spring of following year. The cultivar name means “Drunk Spring Breeze”.
