American Camellia Yearbook, 1962-1963, p.214, Reg. No.630: A 6 year old seedling of Japanese seed that first bloomed 1961; Originated by Dr John B. Anderson, Missis­sippi, USA. Plant growth, dense and spreading with dark green leaves, 8.5 cm x 4 cm. The anemone form flowers are 10-11 cm across and 6 cm deep, with 16 petals and 36-38 petaloids. The colour is a strong, pure pink (7.5 RP 7/10 Nickerson-Munsell) with white stamens. Petaloids erect, 2-2.5 cm above the petals. Blooms mid-season.
