Bobby Moore      (C. japonica)   Registered in 2020. ACS Registration #3221. This 12 year-old C. japonica chance seedling first bloomed in 2014. It was originated, registered and propagated by Larry Heard of Mobile, Alabama, USA. Bloom The small to medium sized 7.6cm x (3.8cm - 6.4cm) formal double to rose form double flower is deep fluorescent pink in the outer petals with lighter pink interior petals with yellow anthers and yellowish filaments. The bloom has pointed petals. This cultivar falls in one piece, is long lasting, has heavy petal texture and has consistent form. Plant The plant habit is upright and dense. The growth rate is average. The plant is suitable for exhibition. Leaf The dark green leaves average (8.9cm - 10.2cm) x (3.2cm- 4.4cm) with medium serration. Bloom season Midseason.
