Chixiang Youai

Chixiang Youai (C. hunanica x C. japonica 'Kramer's Supreme'). China Regn. #2022-349. China Flowers& Horticulture, 2022, No.4, p.47. It was bred and registered by You Mingfei and Shen Jian ofJinhua Moxian Horticultural Engineering Co., Ltd. A hybrid of C. hunanicacrossed with C. japonica 'Kramer's Supreme'. It first bloomed in2015. The flowers are red, the RHSCC Red Group 44-B, fragrant, peony form,medium to large, diameter 9.5~12.5 cm, 6~7 large petals on the outer wheel,broad inverted ovate, the middle stamens petals are mixed with golden yellowstamens, clustered with peony. The leaves are medium green, thick leathery,broadly elliptic, 9.0~9.5 cm long, 5,0~5.5 cm wide, nearly heart-shaped at thebase, pointed at the apex, convex midrib, obvious lateral veins, and finelypointed marginal leaf teeth. The plant is compact, densely foliage, and vigorouslygrows. The flowering period is 1~3 months.

赤香有爱 (Camellia ‘Chixiang Youai’). 中国茶花注册号：2022-350.《中国花卉园艺》2022年第4期第47页。本品种系金华市莫闲园艺工程有限公司游鸣飞、沈剑培育并登录。本品种系通过具芳香的湖南红山茶（C. hunanica）X具芳香的红山茶（C. japonica）‘克瑞墨大牡丹’（Kramer’s Supreme）这一杂交组合获得的。2015年首次开花。花朵红色，RHS比色卡为Red Group 44-B，具芳香，牡丹型，中到大型花，花径9.5～12.5 cm,外轮大花瓣6～7枚，阔倒卵形，中部雄蕊瓣与金黄色雄蕊混生，簇拥牡丹状。叶片中等绿色，厚革质，阔椭圆形，长9.0～9.5 cm，宽5,0～5.5 cm，基部近心状，先端尖，中脉凸起，侧脉明显，边缘叶齿细尖。植株紧凑，枝叶稠密，生长旺盛。花期1～3月份。
