Dainty Pink Star. (C. reticulata hybrid). Registered in 2019. ACS
Registration #3156. This 14-year-old C. reticulata hybrid chance
seedling of 'Frank Houser' first bloomed in 2014. It was originated,
registered and propagated by Pat B. Johnson of Cairo, Georgia. Bloom: The small sized 6.4–7.0cm
x 3.8 cm single form flower is light pink. It has yellow anthers and cream
filaments. This profuse bloomer is long lasting, has heavy petal texture, a
consistent form and falls in one piece. The bloom has five petals and cascading
branches. Plant: The
plant habit is spreading and open. The growth rate is slow. The plant is
suitable for landscaping and exhibition uses. Leaf: The medium green leaves have low serration
and average 7.6 cm x 2.5 cm. Bloom
