Dianne Dickson Reynolds (C. japonica) ACS Registration #3099. Registered in 2019. This 14-year-old C. japonica chance seedling first bloomed in 2008. It was originated by Clarence and Lillian Gordy of Ocala, Florida and registered by James Dickson of North Augusta, Georgia and propagated by Mark Crawford of Valdosta, Georgia. BLOOM: The large sized 12.7 cm x 6.4 cm formal double form flower is rose red. This profuse bloomer is long lasting with consistent form, heavy petal texture and falls in one piece. PLANT: The plant habit is upright. The growth rate is vigorous. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition uses. LEAF: The medium green leaves average 8.9 cm x 4.4 cm with low serration. BLOOM SEASON: Midseason.
