[Characteristic features] Shrub type, early-born species (in favor of the middle), strong growth potential, half-open tree posture, low branching site, dense branching, medium leaf type. Leaf length 11.0-13.0 centimeters, leaf width 3.4-3.6 centimeters, leaf blade long oval, leaf body folded, leaf surface smooth, leaf tip acuminate, leaf margin flat, leaf blade edge serration short, dense, obtuse, leaf base shape obtuse, leaf meat thick and soft, leaf blade is oblique upward bearing. In Qingdao area, the beginning of spring tea buds and leaves in early April, the new buds and hairs are dense, the base of the petiole anthocyanidin color, buds and leaves are plump, holding tenderness, strong bud fertility, purple buds, purple leaves, purple stems. The length of one bud and three leaves is 10.3 cm, the weight of one hundred buds is 46.3 grams, and the color of buds, leaves and stems during the period of one bud, four or five leaves are purple. Flowers bloom early, the calyx is less velvety on the outside, the ovary is less velvety, the petals are 4-5 petals, the corolla is medium in diameter, the style is 3-lobed, and the relative heights of the pistil and stamen are equal. The biochemical sample of one bud and two leaves in spring contains 28.3% of tea polyphenols, 3.5% of amino acids, 2.6% of caffeine, and 40.5% of water leachate. Suitable for black tea and white tea. 东方紫婵 (Camellia sinensis ‘Dongfang Zichan’). 陈亮等. 2024.《中国茶树品种资源志（上卷）茶树登记品种》第324-325页：【申请者】青岛东方紫婵茶叶研究所，青岛山立言茶文化传播有限公司。【育种者】张续周；房婉萍；李玉胜；孙晓燕；浦绍柳。【品种编号】非主要农作物品种登记号：GPD茶树（2020)370001。【品种来源】青岛东方紫婵茶叶研究所等从‘黄山种’中单株选育而成。【特征特性】灌木型，早生种（偏中），生长势较强，树姿半开张，分枝部位低，分枝密，中叶类。叶片长度11.0-13.0厘米，叶片宽度3.4-3.6厘米，叶片长椭圆形，叶身内折，叶面平滑，叶尖渐尖，叶缘平整，叶片边缘锯齿短、密、钝，叶基形状钝，叶质肉厚而柔软，叶片呈斜向上着生。在青岛地区春茶一芽一叶始期在4月上旬，新梢芽茸毛密、叶柄基部花青苷显色，芽叶肥硕、持嫩性强、育芽力强，紫芽、紫叶、紫茎。一芽三叶长度10.3厘米、百芽重46.3克，一芽四、五叶期内芽、叶、茎的颜色均为紫色。盛花期早，花萼外部少茸毛，子房茸毛少，花瓣4-5瓣，花冠直径中等，花柱3裂，雌蕊和雄蕊相对高度等高。春季一芽二叶生化样含茶多酚28.3%，氨基酸3.5%，咖啡碱2.6%，水浸出物40.5%。适制红茶和白茶。春制红茶，条索紧结壮硕、乌黑油润，汤色黄红明亮，花香显玫瑰香型，滋味甜醇，叶底棕红有光泽；春制白茶，毫心肥壮，暗绿油润；汤色浅黄明亮，香气好。第一生长周期亩产一芽二叶鲜叶90千克，比对照‘紫娟’减产18%；第二生长周期亩产一芽二叶鲜叶96千克，比对照‘紫娟’减产16%。中抗茶炭疽病、抗茶小绿叶蝉，抗旱性强，抗寒性中等。【适宜种植区域及栽培技术要点】适宜山东、江苏、浙江、安徽、河南、湖北、贵州茶区春、秋季移栽种植。采取双行双株栽培；加强茶园肥水管理，适时进行3次定剪；要分批留叶采摘，采养结合。
