ACS Registration #3037 . 2017 This 20-year-old C. japonica chance seedling first bloomed in 2007. It was originated, registered and propagated by Don Bergamini of Martinez, California, USA. Bloom: The small to medium sized 6.3 cm – 8.9 cm x 7.6 cm – 10.1 cm (treated 7.6 cm – 10.1 cm x 7.6 cm – 10.1 cm ) single to anemone form flower is bright pink with white edges on each petal and occasional dark pink stripes. It has yellow anthers and white filaments. This profuse bloomer falls in one piece and is long lasting with heavy petal texture and consistent form. The blooms occasionally have petaloids. Plant: The plant habit is upright and spreading. The growth rate is average. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition uses. Leaf: The dark green leaves average 10.1 cm x 6.3 cm with low serration. Bloom season: Early to late.
