Emma Alia    (C. japonica)   ACS Registration #3107. Registered in 2019. This 25-year-old C. japonica chance seedling firstbloomed in 1998. It was originated, registered and propagated by Jill and GlennRead of Lucedale, Mississippi.  BLOOM: The large sized 11.4 cm x 5.1 cm formaldouble form flower is deep rose pink. This profuse bloomer is long lasting withconsistent form, heavy petal texture and falls in one piece. The radiant deeprose pink petals darken to a slightly deeper pink at the petal edges. PLANT: The plant habit is upright and dense. Thegrowth rate is vigorous. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibitionuses. LEAF: The dark green leaves average 8.3cm x 3.2 cm with low serration. BLOOM SEASON:Midseason to late.
