Feihanxiang

Feihanxiang ('Zhaojun Chusai' X 'Xizi Xianghe'). China Regn. #2021-342. China Flowers & Horticulture, 2021, No.11, p.56. It was orignated and registered by Zhou Li, Song Chunyan and Yin Youhui of the Nanshan Botanical Garden Management Office in Chongqing. In 2010, it was selected from the hybrid seedlings obtained by using 'Zhaojun Chusai' as female parent and 'Xizi Xianghe' as male parent. Blooming firstly in February 2019. Flowers light pink, fresh and elegant in color, with a faint rose fragrance, semi-double form, medium-size, diameter 7-9 cm, petals 13, oval, both sides of the petals rolled inward, the middle petals concave, and the tip slightly downward.  The texture  of petals thick and stiff, arranged loosely, a few petals in the center mixed with the stamens; the base of the stamens not connected and the stigmas conjoined. Leaves medium green, long oval, 8-9 cm long and 3-4 cm wide. The edge is slightly rolled back, and the veins are slightly concave; the apex is acuminate, the base is wide cuneate, and the leaf serrate shallow. Plant open with dense branches and leaves, and the growth is vigorous. Flowering from February to April.

绯含香Camellia  japonica ‘Feihanxiang’ 中国登录号：2021-342，《中国花卉园艺》2021年第11期56页。由重庆市南山植物园管理处的周利、宋春艳、尹有惠培育并登录。2010年以川山茶‘昭君出塞’为母本，与杂交品种‘西子香荷’为父本，从获得的杂交实生苗中选育而得。2019年2月开始开花。花朵浅粉色，色彩清新淡雅，具有淡淡玫瑰香味，半重瓣型，中型花，花径7~9 cm，花瓣13枚，椭圆形，花瓣两侧内卷，中部下凹，先端略向下湾，质地厚实硬挺，花瓣排列较松散，中部少量花瓣与雄蕊混生；雄蕊基部离生呈束状，柱头合生。叶片中等绿色，长椭圆形，长8~9 cm，宽3~4 cm。边缘略向后卷，叶脉略下凹；先端渐尖，基部楔形，叶齿浅稀。植株开张，枝叶茂密，生长旺盛。花期2 月至4月。
