Florence's Fancy Formal    (C. japonica)   Registered in 2020. ACS Registration #3218. This 20 year-old C. japonica chance seedling of 'Tiffany' first bloomed in 2012. It was originated, registered and propagated by Pat B. Johnson of Cairo, Georgia, USA. Bloom The medium sized 8.3cm x 3.8cm formal double form flower is medium pink. The bloom has pointed petals. This cultivar is a profuse bloomer, is long lasting, has heavy petal texture and has consistent form. Plant The plant habit is upright and dense. The growth rate is slow. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition. Leaf The medium green leaves average 7.6cm x 3.8cm with low serration. Bloom season Midseason to late.
