Fran Boudolf (C. japonica) ACS, Reg. No.2454. American Camellia Yearbook, 1998,
p3, with color photo in color inset. 5. A small, light pink with dark
pink edge, formal double C. japonica chance seedling, early to
mid-season. Originated by Ed Atkins, Shalimar, FL and propagated by Henry A.
Boudolf, Fort Walton Beach, FL. The 10-year-old seedling first bloomed in 1993.
Average size flower is 2-1/2" wide and 2" deep with 60 petals. Plant
growth is upright, dense, and average with dark green leaves measuring 3-
1/2" long and 2" wide.
