Gabriel Maphis    (C. reticulata hybrid)     Registered in 2020. ACS Registration #3207. This 19 year-old C. reticulata hybrid chance seedling of 'Curtain Call' first bloomed in 2007. It was originated, registered and propagated by Pat B. Johnson of Cairo, Georgia, USA. Bloom The large sized 12.7cm x 8.9cm semidouble form flower is bright pink with yellow anthers and white filaments. This cultivar is a profuse bloomer, falls in one piece, is long lasting, has heavy petal texture and has consistent form. Plant The plant habit is upright and open. The growth rate is vigorous. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition. Leaf The dark green leaves average 11.4cm x 5.7cm with low serration. Bloom season Early to midseason.
