ACS Registration #2919. The Camellia Journal,2014, 69(2):30 with color photo. American Camellia Yearbook, 2014, p. 134 with color photo and description. This 10- year-old C. japonica ‘Moon-light Bay’ seedling first bloomed in 2008. It was originated by Jerry Con-rad of Plymouth, Florida and regis-tered and propagated by Ben George of Deland, Florida. Bloom: The large sized 12.7cm x 10.2cm semidouble to loose peony form flow-er is rose-red. It has yellow anthers and cream filaments. The bloom consists of 18 petals and 7 petaloids. It falls in one piece and has heavy petal texture with consistent form. Plant: The plant habit is upright. The growth rate is vigorous. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition uses. Leaf: The dark green leaves average 10.2cm x 5.1cm with medium serra-tion. Bloom season: Midseason.
