ICS Journal, 2003, p.100 with colour photo, Reg. No.41: An open pollinated seedling of Bokuhan, originated by Eng. José Gil, of Casa do Casal, Santo Tirso, Portugal. First flowered in 1997 at circa 8 years. The plant forms an open, upright shrub of medium growth rate. Flowers over a long period, mid-season to late. Light red (RHS.CC.51A), anemone form with mixed red and white petaloids, 7 cm across x 5 cm deep. Leaves light green, elliptic, 7 cm x 2-3 cm, apex acuminate, margins slightly serrate and slightly reflexed. Jorge Garrido, 2014. Portuguese Camellias-History & Beauty. p.130.
