American Camellia Yearbook, 1965, p.239, Reg. No.765: An 8 year old chance seedling that first bloomed 1962. Originated in USA by W.H. Veo, Orlando, Florida, USA. Plant growth is upright and dense, medium in rate, with dark green leaves averaging 3 inches in length and 1% inches in width. Flowers are large peony form with loose petals to mixed petals and petaloids of full form. Color is dark red with yellow anthers and yellow filaments. Flowers are 5 inches in diameter and 3 inches in depth with 45 petals. Flower holds well, does not shatter. Blooms January and February、
