Lylalux (C.japonica). Autralian Reg. No. 768N. Camellia News-the Journal of Camellia Australia Inc. No. 217, 2022, p.31. Originator & Distributor:John Coles Nursery, Bunjup, WA 6164. A seedling off Camellia japonica ‘JeanEvans’ that first flowered in 2018. This Camellia is a cluster type thatflowers along the leaf axils with multiples at the tips. Flowers are of Elegans(Anemone) form, miniature, 50 mm in diameter. Rose pink with rose pink &white petaloids. Stamen centre, like C. j. ‘Bokuhan’. Hardy in the hotconditions of WA but not in full sun all day sun. The plant is of medium,upright growth habit with dark green, glossy leaves. Can be in-ground or potgrown. It is already in commercial propagation by John Coles Nursery WA. Reg.
