Zhou Li, 2011, Illustrated Handbook for Sichuan Camellias, p.132.  Plant growth medium vigorous, crown is relatively open, branching medium to weak, shoots spreading upwards, medium leafy density. Leaves elliptic, flat, apex apiculate, base broad cuneate, serrate smooth and finely, venation depressed, measured 6.5 cm to 8 cm across by 2.5 cm to 3.5 cm wide. Calyxes are opening. Petals broad elliptic, flat, heavy texture, imbricated regularly in rows, outer petals slightly reflexed, about 60 segments, light pink, formal double, diameter 6.5cm to 7.5 cm wide, floral abundance. Blooms February to April, blooming in March.  Key points of identification: Flowers light pink, heavy texture, charming. Origin: Chongqing

周利主编、2011《川茶品种图鉴》 p.132. 树势中等，树冠较开张，成枝力中等偏弱，枝斜生，节间较长；叶幕中密，叶椭圆形，叶脉下陷，叶面略平展，先端短尖，基部楔形。叶齿细密，叶长6.5cm~8cm,宽2.5cm~3.5cm; 花萼开张，平瓣花多轮约60枚，排列整齐，花瓣平展，质地厚实，近圆形，外数轮花瓣略反卷，花瓣排列规则，花嫩粉色，完全重瓣型，花朵稠密，花径6.5cm~7.5cm，花期2月〜4月，盛花期3月。 花嫩粉色，花辦质地厚实水灵。原始产地：重庆。
