This 15-year-old C. japonica chance seedling of ‘Betty Sheffield Blush’ first bloomed in 2008. It was originated and propagated by Pat B. Johnson of Cairo, Georgia, USA and registered by Melanie Chavaux of Pavo, Georgia, USA. Bloom: The small sized 7.6cm x 5.7cm formal double form flower is white with an occasional pink stripe. The blooms are long lasting with heavy petal texture, fall in one piece and have consistent form. Plant: The plant habit is upright and open. The growth rate is average. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition uses. Leaf: The dark green leaves have low serration and average 10.1cm x 5.1cm. Bloom season: Midseason to late.
