Minyu No. 2 (C. oleifera), a new variety authorized by the State Forestry and Grassland Administration of China in 2019, with the variety right number: 20190347, originated by Ruan Chengjiang, Liu Sihei, Du Wei and others of Dalian Nationalities University. The plant grows vigorously. The navel is protruding and the fruit is spherical. the top buds grow in clusters. Resistance to Camellia anthracnose and brown spot. The fruit has a longitudinal diameter of 2.57 cm and a transverse diameter of 2.69 cm. The seed oil content is 56.2%, and the seed oil content is 36.7%.

民玉2号是2019年国家林草局授权的新品种，【品种权号】20190347，【培育人】阮成江、刘四黑、杜维，【品种权人】大连民族大学。【品种特性】‘民玉2号’是野外调查发现而得，主要表现在生长势好、高产、稳产，属‘寒露子’物候型品种。其生长势强，果脐凸出，果实呈球形，叶为椭圆形，顶芽生长方式为簇生，不存在大小年结实现象，抗油茶炭疽病和褐斑病，果实纵径2.57cm、横径2.69cm，种仁含油率为56.2%，种子含油率为36.7%。通过多次嫁接繁殖，不同年龄的无性系子代，其形态特征和生长特性及果实特征与母株相同，关键是种子含油率和种仁含油率与母株基本一致，性状遗传稳定。此品种适合在我国南方栽植。适生区为我国南方油茶分布区，适宜生长在土壤为红壤、黄壤和红黄壤的山地丘陵区，不适宜生长在排水不良的低湿地、重盐碱地，土层50cm以上。
