» English Description

New Zealand Camellia Bulletin, 1982, vol.XII, No.5, p.7, Reg. No.174: Originated by Darcy O’Toole, Christchurch, New Zealand from a cross of C.lutchuensis x C.japonica Helen Metson, which first bloomed 1974. Growth is spreading, open and rapid. The light green leaves are 3 cm long. The miniature, semi-double flowers are 5.5 cm across x 1.5 cm deep with 18 petals and a few petaloids. Stamens are cream. Flower is pale pink, flushed ivory (RHS.CC.Red Group,49D). It flowers early to late and is very floriferous. It has light per­fume.
