Relian Jijie (C. azalea × C. japonica 'Kramer's Supreme'). Liu Xinkai et al. 2023, Illustrations of the New Camellia Hybrids that Bloom Year-round, Zhejiang Science and Technology Publishing House, p.15. HA-01-9., a cross seedling (DK-No.8) of C. azalea × C. japonica 'Kramer's Supreme'. Flowers orange pink to orange red, sometimes with a few faintly white blotches, semi- double form, medium size, 8.5-10.0cm across and 4.5cm deep with 15-18 petals arranged loosely in 2 rows, petals obovate, wavy, sometimes a few petaloids at the center, stamens nearly free at the base, filaments pale pink, anthers pale yellow. Leaves dark green, leathery, elliptic, margins shallowly serrate. Plant upright, compact and growth vigorous. Starts to bloom from late-summer, fully blooms from autumn to winter and sporadically in spring. The cultivar name means “Lovestruct Season”
