Coolidge Rare Plants Garden Catalogue, ca. 1936: Rose-red. Medium sized, for­mal double. Vigorous, upright growth. Mid-season blooming. Origin unknown. Said by SCCS., Camellia Nomenclature to be the same as ‘Roi Leopold’, but the original descriptions do not match so this is rejected. Synonyms: ‘Belgium Red’, ‘Red Perfection’.
