ACRS, Camellia News, 1996, No.139, p.10, Reg. No.473. Registered by Mrs Rita Wenke, Walla Walla, NSW, Australia. A chance seedling that first flowered 1989. A deep pink (RHS.CC.52A) elegans-form flower of 10-11 petals and 100 plus petaloids, 10 cm diameter x 4 cm deep. Flowers abundantly mid-season on a medium growing bushy plant. Leaves mid-green, glossy, elliptic, blunt acute apex, shallow-pitch serrations of 3-5 mm, base acute, 8 cm long x 3.5 cm wide. Petals rounded and emarginated. Filaments few and scattered.
