Shigyokuden

Satō, 1975, Chūbu no Tsubaki, p.101: Rose-pink, rose formed double, 9 cm across; petals in 4-5 rows, opening cup-shaped, outer rows flexing when fully open. Leaves mid-green, broad-ovate, apex short-acute, margins finely, shallowly serrate. Collected in Mi’e Prefectrue, Japan. Named and released by Minoru Satō in 1960.
