Sir Johnny's Stripes (C.japonica) American Camellia Yearbook, 2023, p.89. Registered in 2023. ACS Registration #3346.It was originated and registered by R. J. Despeaux from Covington, Louisiana, USA. A 6-year-old chance seedling. It was first bloomed in 2017. Flower formal double form; the bloom sometimes exhibits fimbriation, pink to white background with red stripes and dashes, miniature tosmall size, 5.1 cm in diameter. Leaf light green, 7.6 cm long and 5.1 cm wide. Plant average growth rate, spreading, open growth. Bloom mid-season to late.
