ACS Registration #3016. The Camellia Journal,71(3):30 with name and color photo. American Camellia Yearbook, 2016, p. 139 with color photo and description. This 12-year-old C. japonica chance seedling of ‘Tinsie’ first bloomed in 2010. It was originated, registered and propagated by Pat B. Johnson of Cairo, Georgia, USA. Bloom: The small sized 6.3cm - 7.6cm x 2.5cm - 3.2cm anemone form flower is burgundy red. The blooms are long lasting and fall in one piece with consistent form. Plant: The plant habit is upright and spreading. The growth rate is vigorous. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition uses. Leaf: The dark green leaves have low serration and average 6.3cm - 7.6cm x 2.5cm - 3.8cm to 5.1cm. Bloom season: Midseason to late.
