Tengyue Zhichun

Tengyue Zhichun (C. reticulata). China Regn. #2021-335. China Flowers & Horticulture, 2021, No.6, p.51. It was originated and registered by Xiao Yongxian of Xiaojiazhai, Shilangba, Tengyue Town, Tengchong County, Yunnan Province. Flowers red, semi-double to loose peony, with a diameter of 12-14 cm, 12-29 petals, the outer petals  large, undulating; the inner petals undulating and erect. The semi-double-form flower has many stamens and is concentrated in the center of the flower. The stamens of the loose- peony-form flower are divided into 4 to 6 bunches, which are among those petals. Pistil is 3 to 6 lobed, and can bear fruit. Leaves oval, 8.5 to 12 cm long, 5.5 to 7.5 cm wide, with acuminate apex, broad cuneate base, obvious veins, and flat leaves. Plant erect. Flowering from January to March.

腾越之春Camellia  reticulata ‘Tengyue Zhichun’ 中国登录号：2021-335，《中国花卉园艺》2021年第6期51页。由云南省腾冲县腾越镇侍郎坝肖家寨的肖永先培育并登录。花红色，半重瓣至松散牡丹型，花径12～14厘米，花瓣12～29枚，外轮花瓣大，波状起伏，内轮曲折直立，半重瓣型花，雄蕊多数，筒状集于花心；松散牡丹型花雄蕊分4～6束，夹于曲折花瓣间，雌蕊3～6裂，偶能结实。叶宽椭圆形，长8.5～12厘米，宽5.5～7.5厘米，先端渐尖，基部宽楔形，叶脉明显，叶身平。植株株型直立。花期1月～3月。
