Velvet Daze （C. japonica） Registered in 2024. ACS Registration #3356. It was originated and registered by Grant Montana from Midway, Georgia, USA. A 7-year-old seedling of 'Black Magic'. It was first bloomed in 2021. Flower semidouble, brilliant crimson with medium yellow anthers and cream filaments, medium size, 10.2 cm in diameter. Leaf deep jungle green,8.3 cm long and 6.4 cm wide. Plant average growth rate, spreading, open growth. Bloom early to mid-season.
