ACRS., 1980, Camellia News, No.74, p.24, Reg. No.230: Originated by Alice Spragg, Sutherland, N.SW, Australia. A chance seedling that first flowered 1973. The upright, open plant has early blooming, 7.5 cm across, rose to red, peony to informal double flowers. The dark green lanceolate leaves are 6 cm long x 2.5 cm wide, variable in size and shape.
