American Camellia Yearbook, 1977, p.220, Reg. No.1443: Large, white shading to light pink at outer edge of petals, semi-double, C.japonica, flowers mid-season to late. A 14 year old chance seedling of Elegans; originated by Richard Dodd, Marshallville, Georgia, USA. The Frizzle White type bloom has 24-30 petals and few petaloids, yellow anthers and white filaments. Average size, 11 cm across x 6 cm deep. Plant growth is upright and medium with dark green leaves, 11 cm long x 5 cm wide.
