Mark Cannon Scion Catalogue, 1964-1965, p.16. No description. American Camellia Yearbook, 1966, p.101, Reg. No.823: A 6 year old chance seedling that first bloomed 1960, originated by Dr Albert C. Tuck, Thomasville, Georgia, USA. Plant growth is average, dense and rapid with dark green leaves, 8 cm x 5.5 cm. The peony form flower, 10 cm across x 8cm deep is irridescent red with light stamens. Blooms mid-season.
