Xingguang Gaozhao

XingguangGaozhao (C. subintegra× C. azalea). Liu Xinkai et al. 2023, Illustrations of the NewCamellia Hybrids that Bloom Year-round, Zhejiang Science and TechnologyPublishing House, p.97. HA-27-3., a cross seedling (QYD-No.29) of C.subintegra × C. azalea. Flowers deep pinkto red with faint white markings on the top part of petal surfaces, singleform, medium size, 7.5-9.0cm across with 6 petals, petals obovate, stamensunited at the base, bloom dense. Leaves dark green, heavy leathery, longelliptic, wavy, margins smooth with an obvious yellow border. Plant compact,branches dense, bushy and growth normal. Starts to bloom from early-autumn,fully blooms from late-autumn to winter and sporadically in spring. Thecultivar name means “Starlit's Brightly Shining”.

星光高照 Camellia ‘Xingguang Gaozhao’ 。刘信凯、钟乃盛、柯欢、武艳芳主编，2023，《第二部四季茶花杂交新品种彩色图集》，浙江科学技术出版社，第97页。 HA-27-3.杂交组合：全缘红山茶× 杜鹃红山茶，杂交苗编号：QYD-No.29。花朵深粉红色至红色，瓣面上部具隐约白斑，单瓣型，中型花，花径7.5-9.0cm，花瓣6枚，倒卵形，雄蕊基部连生，开花稠密。叶片浓绿色，叶背面灰绿色，厚革质，长椭圆形，长8.5-11.0cm，宽3.0-4.0cm,略波浪状，边缘光滑，具明显黄边。植株紧凑，枝叶稠密，灌丛状，生长中等。秋初始花，秋末至冬季盛花，春季零星开花。
