Xingyuan Yunhai

Xingyuan Yunhai (C. japonica 'Collettii' × C. azalea). Liu Xinkai et al. 2023, Illustrations of the New Camellia Hybrids that Bloom Year-round, Zhejiang Science and Technology Publishing House, p.74. HA-24-4., a cross seedling (KLD-No.3Mu) of C. japonica 'Collettii' × C. azalea. It is a variegated mutation obtained from the hybrid 'Xingyuan Hongxia'. Most of its characteristics are similar to 'Xingyuan Hongxia9, but its flowers are larger with many white cloud­shaped markings, and a few yellow patches appeared on the leaves occasionally. Mark: The hybrid was bred by Shanghai Camellia Garden in 2018. The cultivar name means “Xingyuan's Cloud Sea”.

星源云海 Camellia ‘Xingyuan Yunhai’ 。刘信凯、钟乃盛、柯欢、武艳芳主编，2023，《第二部四季茶花杂交新品种彩色图集》，浙江科学技术出版社，第74页。 HA-24-4.杂交组合：红山茶品种‘客来邸’× 杜鹃红山茶，杂交苗编号：KLD-No.3Mu。本品种是‘星源红霞’的一个复色突变。其大部分性状与‘星源红霞’品种相似，但是花朵更大了，而且具大量云状白斑，叶片偶然出现少量黄斑。注：本品种于2018年由上海茶花园培育。
