Zhou Li, 2011, Illustrated Handbook for Sichuan Camellias, p.196. Plant habit vigorous, with open crown, branching rapidly, shoots most upwards spreading. Leaves long elliptic, flat, with wavy margins slightly reflexed, apex apiculate, base broad cuneate, serration shallow and sparsely, measured6.5 cm to 8 cm across by 3 cm to 4 cm wide. Calyxes open. Petaloids by all stamens. Petals flat, imbricated regularly in rows, about 95 segments, inner petals incurved, outer petals reflexed, apex slightly protruded, flowers brilliantly magenta occasionally with white cloudy spots, diameter 8 cm to 10 cm, flowers abundant, formal double form. Florescence late January to late March, at full blooming in February.  Key points of identification: Leaves narrowly elliptic, with wavy margins wavy reflexed. Flowers magenta occasionally with white spots, floral abundance. Origin: Chongqing.sport：Yunban Yanghong.

周利主编、2011《川茶品种图鉴》 p.196. 树势强健，树冠开张，成枝力强，节间中长，枝条多向上斜伸；叶长椭圆形，叶缘曲波状，略反卷，叶先端渐尖，基部宽楔形，叶齿浅稀，叶长8.5cm~10cm,宽3.5cm~4.5cm;花萼开张，平瓣花多轮，约95枚，雄蕊完全退化，花瓣平展，排列整齐，内层花瓣内凹，外数层花瓣反卷，瓣尖无缺凹，略凸出，花红色，鲜亮，花瓣上偶有白色云斑，花径8cm-10Cm，完全重瓣型，花朵稠密，花期1月下旬至3月下旬，盛花期2月。 叶长椭圆形，边缘曲波状，花洋红色，偶有白斑，花朵稠密。原始产地：重庆。芽变品种:云斑洋红。
